I found out about this place thru the app Slice. And ever since day one it’s always been fire. Better than the other places I’ve went around here (Carnegie) to be honest. Now I appreciate food. So presentation of a meal means a lot to me as well. And 9 times out of 10 it looked beautiful and 10/10 tastes great. I feel like the ovenist takes pride in his work. You can taste/see it!I have not bought pizza from any other place since I’ve found Pizza Americana

Pizza Americana is consistently great. We've ordered from here several times and we've never been a bad experience. The Spicy Chicken pizza is fantastic!

We got a meatball calzone, NY style pizza, and hand tossed pizza. Of the 3 items we had, my favorite was the meatball calzone. Of the 2 pizzas we had, we preferred the NY style pizza. However, the hand tossed pizza did have its appeal. The calzone and hand tossed pizza bad a very doughy profile that was very nice -- it tasted very fresh with a high gluten protein content; very nice. The NY style pizza was much different, but had a very desirable sauce/cheese/crust matrix. The service was excellent, the employees were awesome and friendly, and the order was ready in very little time late at night, where most other places were closed. I highly recommend this place.

Pizza Americana has never failed to make every visit enjoyable. The employees are very nice and provide excellent service. The menu offers a wide variety of options. The prices are very reasonable, making this pizza shop a great choice for a regular meal or even for special occasions. I highly recommend this pizza shop to anyone who is local to Scott/Carnegie/Heidelberg or surrounding areas! I personally recommend getting the Italian calzone, but if it’s your thing.. replace the red sauce with white sauce. Tastes amazing and it’s our go to every single time!!

We’ve been here a couple times and each time we’ve had a pleasant experience. Friendly staff and pizza has been great. The perfect ratio of sauce to cheese every time.

Back home in the 'Burgh last week and had to stop and get the most underrated pizza in the area. The dough and sauce are just perfect. The people that work there are always the friendliest.

I love everything about Pizza Americana. The price is great, delivery is fast, and all the food is fantastic. I have never had something I didn't like from there. I love all the salads, the Sicilian pizza is bomb, the New York style pizza is the best New York style pizza I've had this side of the Appalachian Mountains. Also, the dry rub wings are delicious and I love that I can order all flats or wings. The desert is even good!! Seriously, you can't go wrong with this place.

We discovered Pizza Americana through the slice app. Their hand tossed pizza is very good, but recently, we tried their New York style thin crust and friends, it is some of the best pizza I've ever had in my life! It is unforgettably delicious and crave-worthy! After decades of the eternal search for reliably amazing pizza, my search has come to an end. It's Pizza Americana for us, and the NY style thin crust for me! While delivery is super convenient, I'll want to stop in at some point to personally thank them and heap praise in their direction.
